About Thant Htet Aung

I'm Thant Htet Aung, an AI software engineer and full-stack developer based in Singapore. I build practical AI products that solve real problems — agentic systems, retrieval-augmented generation pipelines, and the evaluation tooling that keeps them honest.

Most recently I was an AI Software Engineer Intern at Visier, where I shipped production AI features for Vee, an LLM-powered HR assistant used by more than 2 million people across 65,000+ organisations. That work spanned customer-facing features, LLM model evaluation, prompt engineering, automated evaluation frameworks and production debugging.

I hold a First Class BSc (Hons) in Computing Science from Coventry University and completed the RNCP Level 6 programme at 42 Singapore, where the C and systems-programming curriculum shaped how I think about performance and correctness. I also run Goodev, where I consult, design, develop and deliver software for clients end to end.

I enjoy designing AI systems that go beyond simple chatbots by incorporating reasoning, planning, evaluation and tool use. Outside of work I build open-source projects, experiment with local LLMs and explore agentic AI architectures.
